About Me

Kerianne Marie Leibman is a writer and interdisciplinary artist from New York. Her work explores themes of presence & connection. She often works with images from nature and dreams.

She has studied at Columbia University, CUNY, and the Art Students League of New York. Previous exhibitions include the Nippon Gallery (2019), Columbia University (2021) and as an Artist in Residence at the Burren College of Art (2024). She has presented writing on the topic of film noir and intuition (as a part of an ongoing collection of essays) at a Film Panel for the MPCA/ACA 2021 conference in Minneapolis.She self-published a multimedia chapbook entitled “Small Migrations” in 2021 which included paintings, photographs, and poetry. That same year she published a small collection of songs entitled “Paper Joy EP” which revolve around the prompt of sleeping-dreaming-and-waking.
